    Creative Calm Training Academy are proud to announce this fully accredited Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training Course NEW to 2026. This 40 hour course is suitable for non Yoga teachers (whilst some yoga knowledge is preferable you do not have to be a yoga teacher to attend) By the end of the course you will be able to; -Confidently teach a prenatal yoga class, incorporating safe and beneficial pregnancy Yoga shapes ( asana )and flow (vinyasa ). -Comprehensively understand the body during pregnancy, birth and prenatal and postnatal adjustments and considerations. -Have knowledge of the changes throughout each trimester for mum to be and how Pregnancy Yoga can aid common ailments. -Support mums to be with pelvic floor health and understanding -Learn about babies development through each trimester -Deliver a deeply meditative Yoga Nidra suitable for pregnancy relaxation, with an understanding of hypnotherapy techniques for birth. -Sequence a Yoga class for pregnancy and create a 6 week course for Pregnant students. -Teach powerful breathwork for pregnancy, birth and beyond ( pranayama ) -Hold space for pregnant students, understand how to create community, network and support your class -Offer one of workshops in Birth Preparation -Confidently market yourself and your offering, understand the legalities and formalities. This 40 hour training comprises; 31 hours in person training at our beautiful studio 9 hours non contact - additional reading, coursework, assessments We are a fully accredited teacher training academy with Yoga Teachers Together Karen is a Yoga Elder and will be bringing her knowledge of embodied anatomy, yoga, somatics & bio-mechanics. She will integrate other elements of yoga, including mantra, mudra and pranayama all neatly woven in with yoga philosophy. This will give you a rounded practise and enable you to teach with confidence & creativity. A foundation in Hatha Yoga to then build pregnancy specialism on top of.   • Gong Bath with Gong Spa (Martyn)

    A gong bath is a unique experience in which you are bathed (clothes on)..... in the sounds and vibrations of the gongs, which lend themselves to enhanced states of well-being, relaxation, happiness and pleasure. Great for those who want to give a gift to themselves (or others) of an hour of 'me time' or as an aid to meditation and deep cleansing. All you need to do is relax and let the gongs do the work! I will bring some jasmine tea for us to drink after the gong bath. It's lovely for slowly coming around and grounding a little. You could bring water too, to help with the detox. Your body temperature may change during a gong bath. Many people drop in temperature. It is sensible to have a blanket at the ready Contraindications: Please let me know in advance if you are pregnant, have a metal implant (contraceptive coils are fine) or pacemaker, suffer from a sound sensitive condition, have epilepsy or have any query regarding the suitability of a gong bath for you. Thank you. The youngest person I can accept at group events is 13 years of age.

  • Hypoppressives Workshop

    Hypopressives refers to a decrease in intra-abdominal pressure (IAP). We experience rises in IAP in most daily activities. But we are most vulnerable to its effects when pressure rises are large and unexpected (such as coughing and sneezing) and when we exercise. We can also be at risk when tissues have been stretched or weakened as a result, for example, pregnancy.

This beautiful Birth Preparation Workshop incorporates Pregnancy Yoga, hynotherapy for birth, birthing postions, & relaxation. We will look at early labour signals, optimal birth positioning, pain relief management as we explore stages one, two & three of the labour process. Both Mamas to be & Bith Partners benefit from the 'birth rehearsal' as we work together to understand how best to support your loved ones in labour. Hayley pulls on her Pregnancy Yoga expertise, Meditation training and Doula experience to deliver this informative, relaxed, hands on workshop. These 3 hour workshops are very personal with a maximum of 4 couples per session. Meanining limited spaces for the demand. £150 per couple. I offer a 15% discount to any mamas to be already attending my pregnancy yoga course.
