Step away from the busyness of everyday life and treat yourself to an hour of deep relaxation and restoration. A gong bath is a wonderfully immersive experience where, fully clothed and lying comfortably, you'll be gently "bathed" in the soothing sounds and vibrations of the gongs. As the rich, resonant tones wash over you, they can help quiet a busy mind, ease physical tension and encourage a deep sense of calm, balance and wellbeing. Whether you're looking for some much-needed 'me time', a way to support your meditation practice or simply an opportunity to switch off and recharge, a gong bath offers a unique and deeply restorative experience. There is nothing you need to do except get comfortable, relax and allow the sounds of the gongs to do the work. After the session, Martyn will serve a soothing cup of jasmine tea, giving you time to gently awaken, ground yourself and enjoy a few quiet moments before returning to your day. You're also welcome to bring a bottle of water to help you stay hydrated afterwards. As your body temperature may naturally drop during a gong bath, we recommend bringing a blanket or an extra layer to help you stay warm and cosy throughout the session. Before you book, please let Martyn know before the session if you: Are pregnant Have a pacemaker or any metal implant (contraceptive coils are absolutely fine) Have epilepsy Have a condition that makes you particularly sensitive to sound Have any questions about whether a gong bath is suitable for you Group gong baths are suitable for those aged 13 years and over.
