YOGA IS FOR EVERYBODY
You are never too old, too young, too stiff or too inflexible to benefit from practicing yoga and its techniques.
Yoga is about taking time out of this busy, overstimulating world to connect with yourself on the mat. It's YOUR practice after all.
Our highly skilled teachers adapt classes to suit you, allowing you to go at your own pace, listen to your body and move in a way that works best.
Yoga can be as gentle or as strong as you want it to be. It builds strength and flexibility; aids sleep; promotes inner calm; and improves the symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress.
HATHA YOGA
Traditional Hatha yoga is the foundation of Creative Calm, and we strive to honour and respect this ancient practice. While it offers nourishing physical exercise, it is often called a 'work in' rather than a workout for all that it offers to mind and spirit.
Pranayama (breathwork) Asana (physical movement) and yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) make up the components of our authentic style of classes with something for all ages and abilities.

MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS
Our meditation, mindfulness & relaxation classes offer a gentle space to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with your inner balance.
Each class blends simple meditation techniques, mindful awareness practices and guided relaxation to help you reduce stress and tension, improve focus and emotional clarity and build resilience and inner calm.

PREGNANCY & BABY YOGA
Pregnancy can often be the gateway to your yoga practice, and at Creative Calm we offer traditional Hatha yoga adapted for pregnant and postnatal students. Connect with your body and self during a transformative time and enjoy the benefits of breathwork, meditation and hypnotherapy techniques.
We also offer mama & baby classes for you to enjoy the practice with your little bundle.
KIDS & FAMILY YOGA
Children are natural yogis, moving their body instinctively. Nurturing these skills gives our children the tools for life to really come home to themselves, self regulate and connect.
Yoga builds confidence, promotes positive body image, whilst increasing strength and improving flexibility. Creative Calm Kids offers classes for mini yogis and family members.
YIN YOGA
Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga where shapes are held for longer periods. It focuses on creating space to feel into body and mind, offering a deep reset and gentle release both physically and energetically.
Yin yoga nurtures mindfulness and flexibility and is perfect for those looking for a calming, restorative practice. Our monthly evening classes help you wind down and feel at ease.

CHAIR YOGA
Chair yoga offers accessible, gentle yoga, adapting traditional shapes and moves to be performed in a seated position instead of on the mat. It particularly suits people with limited mobility or energy.
Experience the fun of low-impact exercise and the relaxation of mindful techniques whilst building strength and flexibility. Enjoy all the benefits of yoga whatever your age or ability.

YOGALATES
Yogalates is a refreshing blend of yoga and pilates, combining gentle stretching with core strengthening exercises.
It can help improve flexibility, posture and overall body strength through controlled movements and mindful breathing. Our Yogalates classes leave you feeling stronger and more balanced and are suitable for all levels.

SOUND HEALING
Our sound baths offer rejuvenation and release as you take in the calm vibrations of sound. They offer a relaxing experience as you absorb an intentional, layered soundscape created by instruments such as crystal bowls, bells or gongs.
We offer evening sound baths for the perfect way to relax and unwind at the end of the day and we host monthly events such as gong spas. We also have family sound baths and parent & baby sound baths for the little ones to enjoy.
OUR YOGA, MEDITATION & SOUND TEAM

The teachers at the studio are yogis on and off the mat with a wealth of experience and knowledge of yoga philosophies & history.
